My Love Letter to God

Dear God,
I write You this letter oh God! To thank You for never leaving me, when am alone You are there, when I leave your side, You draw me close, even times when I think I don't deserve your love You let me know You love me no matter what .

Sometimes I don't listen to You, You still listen to me when I talk. I dance,I smile ,I sing, its all about You.

 I laugh its all about You . I write its about You.

My Positive Experience from Gospel Artiste Psalmos

Growing up has a child , music played a significant role in my life. It was a part of my being and existence as a child. Being in a family where music is fully expressed might have been the reason for such a habit I still hold on to till date.

I specifically pay more attention to the lyrics of songs in order to get into the mind of the artiste and feel the intensity of their emotions.

Although I love music and the talent alongside but I had specials.

My specials include, gospel music, Rhythm and blues,and Jazz. These three genres I love.
My focus however is on gospel music. I grew up loving Ron Kenoly,Don Moen, Kirk Franklin,
Mary Mary,Cece Winans,Funmi Aragbaye,Pana  Percy Paul,Wale Adenuga and many more.

Recently from my single days up to me becoming a mother and a wife, I have grown or rather fallen in love with the songs of this great Nigerian female artiste- Psalmos

This year marks ten years that I have been listening to the songs by Psalmos.

My love for gospel music is as a result of me willing to get consistently closer to God, Psalmos however has helped me over time.

She has 2 albums to her name and her creativity. So my piece to you is to share what I have learnt over these years listening to her music.

1.  "He good" is one of her songs that has taught me that i am unique and special even if I see myself has irrelevant, inadequate or nothing. Also I learnt that I am who I am all by the Grace of God.

2. " Orin Tuntun"(New song), is a dance track in which I have come to understand that God will never stop giving me a new song to sing. And that I should always share them to the world of His greatness over my life.

3. From her song "Ku se" I also learnt that I have a God who is my Father. He is a father who is always available, he understands me and knows my worth. Why should I fear?

4." Agame" is a another song by Psalmos which is a fusion of Yoruba and Igbo language. I learnt that giving my all to God is all I can give because that's what He expects from me. I can never sing enough or even dance enough to bring glory to His name.

5. "Only you" is another track in which I also learnt that God is all I got. He has got my back all the way.

I can go on and on and on but in all , I have truly learnt that God is good, God is with me all the way no matter what.

That's my experience over the years that I have got listening Psalmos- the instrument of worship.

Psalmos, Nigeria's popular female gospel artiste recently surprised her fans again with a new video

It is the much awaited video to the popular gospel  song Orin tuntun.

With the release of the video,she has received a huge response from her fans

1.  Tell us how d conception of the  video came up?
The conception of the video came as a result of how God has been so good in my life and in the life of my band members.

This year GOD has been so good to us, so with that the entire concept came up! My husband was the director and producer of the video.

Also one of band members Adetoke Olaleye-Olowookere who is a writer helped with the script writing alongside my other band members

So I will say the conception came from the team- Psalmos instrument of worship


2. The responses so far, Have they been positive or negative?
 So far I have had more positive remarks than negative and I thank God for that. The negative however has also helped no doubt.

3. What should we be expecting from you soon?
Well, my fans should expect the release of my new album and any other thing God will want me to do this year.

Be Your Motivation

Have you ever gotten to a stage in your life when you think "oh am tired, I don't won't to do this anymore or you say "no one wanna to care about what am doing?" Well, as at that point all you want to hear is " hey! Nice job-keep it up!" We as women long for words of encouragement, appreciation and motivation Motivation is a vital tool that we women long for.. We tend to need that push to make us do more and better. But sometimes the motivation doesn't come.

No one really cares about your existence. Sometimes we even get blamed for doing things we love. We get enemies for being good. We even get ignored for being caring. Then we ask ourselves " what's going on?" With this we become moody, unhappy n sometimes decide not to do anything and let things be. When we get to this point of misery, self- motivation is what we need. It is not easy but its worth it.

  THE TWO WAY METHOD TO SELF-MOTIVATION

 Method One :
You have to believe in yourself and what you are doing No one can tell you what you are doing is good if you do not believe that what you are doing is good. Self motivation has to come from you. You have to value what you do. With that even if anyone does not even care, as long as you care- thats all that matters.

Method two :
Fill your heart and mind with inspirational words. At a time in my life I taught no one cared about me, that I was ugly and I was absolutely nothing. So I came to realize no one cared because I didn't care about myself. At that point I got a paper and wrote down the following:

 1. I am who God says I am
 2.I am wonderfully and beautifully made
3.God loves me no matter what
4. I can do all things
5.I am a success
6. Am a role model to my generation.

  I read this into my mind everyday doing that period of my life. It helped motivate me... I started working towards making myself better without anyone's help.

The Comeback Letter

Its been a long time since I have posted on the blog. For this I apologise. During this period of silence, I had to undergo a surgery( ovarian cyzt). This period wasn't easy at all. But I thank God for strength.  Hi everyone, its a beautiful day and a beautiful week so far.... for the past few weeks i  have been so busy that I forget the essence of having a good day.

Having a bright and beautiful day is so essential to everyone especially we as women. so how do we have a bright day in the missed of our busy schedule, and rowdy environment?

Here are five tips to help you attain and  achieve a brighter day.

1. Wake up knowing God loves you

ROCK SUNDAY

It was a rocky Sunday at the Deja - Vu Restaurant and bar in VI Lagos Nigeria The restaurant housed the event titled "Conterie Awa oh tush oh" programme organized by the April city entertainment and satisfied records on the 16th December 2012 The audience where whaoed by wonderful performances from Henri soul, Issac Geralds,Gaise, Psalmos and Niki laoye .

For Amazing Purple I want to appreciate these two women Niki Laoye and Psalmos The saying says what a man can do a woman can do better, well I don't see women do things better they do things the best way they can Their performances this crazy Sunday was awesome.

 Psalmos' performance was totally awesome. She too is a great dancer. She performed her new single "Orin Tuntun" meaning a new song. It is a new song with nice rhythm and composition. The audience couldn't afford too sit! They stoop up and danced along. She is an "instrument of worship" and she expressed on that on stage.

Niki performed on stage with her husband performing her song "123" making everyone dance on their feet till d end of the song. One thing she said that touched my mind is that she "was called by God to make every one praise and worship God-to make everyone happy! Indeed she made That clear. Everyone danced all the way. Niki herself is a very good dancer. Other artiste performed well like Gaise, Henrisoul and Issac Geralds.

 These women however show that if you want achieve anything, you can!

Also every-woman has a purpose she has to fulfill on earth Discover your purpose and plan in life and know how focused and significant you are in the society We are women! We are needed! Find your purpose!!!

    I felt... finally my hustle is beginning to make sense... I felt really proud of my story

     My biggest inspiration has been God and the people around me.. I am extra loved by God and my fans

    Well...Women are uniquely special... I desire that every woman will know and discover her place in destiny... through my years on earth, i have gotten my most productive counsel from women . Women are exceptionally intelligent, they are builders!
